My name is Ryan Sperry and this is my personal website. I am a sociologist at Queens College, CUNY. My current work roles include Professor of Sociology and Director of the Master’s Program in Data Analytics and Applied Social Research at Queens College, CUNY. I received my PhD from Columbia University in the Department of Sociology. My work focuses on the areas of organizations, economic sociology, technology, and culture. My current research focuses on the role of networks in facilitating or hindering innovation and the social relations that determine the success of podcasting enterprises and entrepreneurs.
